Refund policy

Every card is inspected in hand and photographed front and back before it's listed. Because auctions are binding and each card is one of a kind, all sales are final, except where a card isn't what we described.

When you can claim a refund

  • The card is not authentic.
  • The card is materially different from the listing: a different card, set, number, language or grade, or condition noticeably worse than described and shown in the photos.
  • The card was damaged in transit.
  • Your parcel never arrived (we'll first check with the carrier).

What isn't covered

  • Changing your mind, or finding the card cheaper elsewhere.
  • Differences of opinion on condition that are visible in the listing photos, or a grading company later giving a different grade to a raw card.
  • Damage after delivery, or cards removed from a graded slab or tamper-evident packaging.

How to claim

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery through the contact form (choose “Payment or order”) with your order number.
  2. Include clear photos of the card (front and back), the packaging and, for transit damage, the outside of the parcel.
  3. Keep the card and all packaging exactly as received until your claim is decided.

How claims are decided

We review every claim individually, usually within 3 business days, and a refund is only issued once we've reviewed and approved the claim. We may ask for more photos, or ask you to return the card before refunding. If we approve a claim we'll cover reasonable tracked return postage.

Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, in the auction's currency. Depending on your bank they take 5–10 business days to appear. You'll get an email when the refund is issued. If only part of an order is affected, we may refund that part (and its share of shipping).

Won but don't want to pay?

A winning bid is a commitment to buy. Unpaid wins aren't cancelled automatically. We may offer the card to the next-highest bidder, and repeated non-payment can lead to your account being suspended. See the Terms of Service.
